Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 anchovy fillets
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, grated, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Cook penne pasta according to package instructions.
  • Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  • While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and anchovy fillets, and stir until the anchovies dissolve.
  • Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, until tender.
  • Add the reserved pasta water to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  • Add cooked penne pasta to the skillet and stir to combine with the broccoli and anchovy sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese.
